Frequently Asked Questions

What image formats are supported?

PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, and SVG. Everything is converted to PNG internally before being embedded in the PDF, so transparency (like PNG logos and SVG icons) is preserved.

Will the image quality be preserved?

Yes. Images are embedded at their original resolution and rendered at the size you choose on the page. There is no re-compression or quality loss — you get the exact pixel data of the source image.

Can I place the same image on multiple pages?

Absolutely. Select the image in the sidebar library and click on each page where you want it placed. Each placement is independent — you can size and rotate them individually.

Can I make a watermark-style image?

Yes. Set the opacity slider to 10–30%, increase the size, and rotate it diagonally. For text watermarks, use the Add Watermark tool instead.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens in your browser using pdf.js and pdf-lib. Your files never leave your device — you can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.

Can I use this to add a signature?

Yes — upload a photo or scan of your signature (PNG with transparent background works best), place it on the signature line, and download. For a dedicated signing tool with draw/type options, see Draw Signature or eSign PDF.
