Frequently Asked Questions

Will the slides be editable text?

No. Each PDF page is rendered as a high-resolution image placed on the slide. This preserves the exact layout, fonts, and graphics of your PDF. If you need editable text, use PDF to Word instead.

Why do my slides have white bars on the sides?

Your PDF page aspect ratio doesn't match the slide size you picked. Use Cover to fill the slide (edges may be cropped) or choose Match PDF Page Size so slides match your document exactly.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything — PDF rendering and PPTX creation — happens inside your browser using pdf.js and PptxGenJS. Your file never leaves your device.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Use the Page Range field. Examples: 1-5 (pages 1 through 5), 1,3,7 (specific pages), or 1-3, 8, 12-15 (mixed). Leave it blank to convert every page.

What file format is produced?

A standard .pptx file (Office Open XML). It opens in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007+, Apple Keynote, Google Slides, LibreOffice Impress, and any modern presentation app.
