Frequently Asked Questions

Which file formats are supported?

DOCX (Word 2007+), XLSX (Excel 2007+), PPTX (PowerPoint 2007+), CSV, TXT, MD (Markdown), RTF, and HTML. Legacy formats like .doc, .xls, and .ppt are not supported — save them as the newer format first.

How accurate is the conversion?

Text, headings, lists, and tables convert very well. Complex features like custom fonts, smart art, gradients, 3D charts, and advanced page layouts will be simplified. For pixel-perfect fidelity, use a desktop office suite — this tool is designed for everyday documents where content matters more than exact styling.

Is my document uploaded to a server?

No. Everything — parsing your Office file and generating the PDF — happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it will still work.

Can I convert multiple files at once?

Yes. Upload as many files as you want, drag them to reorder, and choose whether to merge everything into one PDF or download separate PDFs for each file.

Why does my PowerPoint look different?

PowerPoint slides contain graphics and positioning that browsers can't render exactly. This tool extracts the text content of each slide and lays it out cleanly in the PDF. For pixel-perfect PPTX→PDF, use the desktop PowerPoint "Save as PDF" feature.

Are images and charts preserved?

Images embedded in DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX files are extracted and included where possible. Excel charts are not currently supported and will be omitted. Embedded OLE objects and macros are ignored for security reasons.
